Riccardo Tisci, the artistic director of Givenchy, is to be honored at Alicia Keys’ Black Ball on October 30th at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. Tisci will be receiving a humanitarian award for “inspiring new and compassionate ways of thinking through his bold and unapologetic voice in challenging discrimination, while breaking cultural barriers in the fashion industry.” The ball also will serve as a fundraiser for the Keep a Child Alive nonprofit.
