Music artist will.i.am is launching a new eyewear business on September 16th in selected retailers world wide. Named ill.i Optics by will.i.am, the line is dual-gender and contains both optical and sunglass styles. “When you see today’s glasses, they are missing a little bit of what vintage glasses had,” said will.i.am about the project. “I wanted to marry the retro feel with futurism, take yesterday’s sensibility with today’s aesthetic.” The styles will start at $300 retail.
