The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards.
The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards are underway! Naturally, the red carpet is full of enough drama, so let’s dive into the stars’s style choices for the awards show.
Here’s what they wore! Before hitting the stage, Beyoncé went glam in a Nicolas Jebran number. She’s never looked better!
Jennifer Lopez smoldered in a silver cutout Charbel Zoe gown. No seriously — how does she look flawless every single time?
Nicki Minaj couldn’t have promoted “Anaconda” any better, donning a snakeskin print dress for the evening.
Solange Knowles juxtaposed voluminous hair and embellishment with an H&M menswear-inspired suit. Chic no? Opening up a tab for Hennes & Mauritz as we speak!
Amber Rose left little to the imagination in a barely-there chain-embellished Laura Dewitt design alongside her husband who kept it pretty pared down based on his normal sartorial inclinations. This reminds me of the days when Yeezy was her stylist. I must admit…I loved it!
We all know Kim Kardashian loves Balmain, thus naturally, she wore one of the brand’s colorful knit frocks.
I am always here for a Gwen Stefani red carpet moment and I loved the simplicity and clean lines of her hot pink and black look from her own L.A.M.B. line.
Iggy Azalea shimmered in a futuristic silver Versace gown which boyfriend Nick Young matched with brogues in the same metallic shade.
It was all about minimalism for Jourdan Dunn who sported an angular bob, Balmain Resort 2015 black bandeau, and high-waist maxi skirt from the iconic French fashion house. Hot!
Thigh-high slits were one of the night’s trends and Rita Ora was just one of the fashionable femmes to wear the fad, slipping on a red silk Donna Karan Atelier dress with the sexy detail.
Laverne Cox definitely hit the red carpet with a bang — both literally and figuratively! I again took issue with her shoe choice for the second time this weekend, but get into that embellished Marc Bouwer dress: work Laverne!
Rocsi Diaz was gilded in a gold sequin embellished halter ensemble with a cowl neckline.
It was all about animal print for Michelle Williams who was fierce in a Roberto Cavalli Halter Neck Giraffe Print Gown. She looked fabulous!
The entire DC trio was in attendance as mommy-to-be Kelly Rowland was glowing in a sparkling halter gown.
Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo coordinated on the red carpet, serving white party realness. They’re such a cute couple!
The Jenner sisters coordinated in all-black with sultry peeks of skin. These ladies definitely get it right when it comes to red carpet dressing.
Taylor Swift showed off her mile-long stems in a Mary Katrantzou playsuit and Elie Saab shoes. I guess Taylor is going for an edgier look? I’m here for it!
A leather bandeau and matching high-waist trousers were Miley Cyrus’s choices for the awards show. I’ve definitely had my fill of black leather, but I liked this ‘fit.
Demi Lovato was the lady in red in a plunging neckline Lanvin gown in the fiery shade and a thigh-high slit. Give us curves Demi!
Actress Alexandra Shipp is definitely one to watch as her sultry mesh-inset, embroidered gown ranked high among the night’s best dressed.
I love Jessie J’s fun sense of style, but her vintage Halston gown was far from flattering.
Last, but not least was Jamie Chung in a red embellished Versace frock. Gotta love her style!
Who had your favorite look of the night?
