Fashion Scoop: Andre 3000 Displays Jumpsuits at Art Basel, Lindsay Lohan Designs Menswear, and New Public School Collaboration.

  • Andre 3000 wore a whopping 47 jumpsuits during the last Outkast reunion tour and now, those fits are on display at Art Basel. The deep, thoughtful reason for why he wore the jumpsuits was simple: he didn’t know what to wear. “I’m like, how am I gonna present these songs? I don’t have nothing new to say,” he said. “So I was like, maybe I can start saying new stuff while doing these old songs. It became a theme where I was more excited about this than the actual show. This is fun, running out in these.” (Four Pins)

  • According to Tracee Ellis Ross, television is starting to embrace black beauty and natural black hair. “I think right now television is one of the places where women are pushing up against that and saying, “You know what? I don’t need to play this game anymore in order to be considered beautiful,” she said. And indeed it is: Ross wears a natural style on Blackish and other actresses like Viola Davis have gone so far as to remove their literal wigs on television. That’s quite encouraging to hear, no?
