Like so many weeks this year, this one has been troubling and tensions in the Big Apple are definitely on high. As always, here at Teewhy-hive, I turn to fashion as a distraction from the world’s harsh realities and though i am committed to diversity around here, i have a great deal of work ahead of me to see that same sentiment is shared the world over don’t i? I won’t stop working towards it!
In the celeb fashion world, Pre-Fall 2015 collections kicked off, the world’s sexiest fashion show happened, and a slew of stylish red carpet events went down.

Melanie Brown kept it simple and chic at the 2014 Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year Awards in London in a black ruffle jumpsuit.

It was all about primary colors for The Saturdays. Beautiful women no?

A white and black lace off-the-shoulder Zuhair Murad dress was Millie Mackintosh’s choice for the awards show. This was fab.

Eva Longoria sported a winter white peplum jacket and pencil skirt from Ralph & Russo’s Fall 2014 collection at the L’Oreal Paris Women of Worth Celebration in NYC. Hot!

Also in attendance was mommy-to-be Blake Lively in a one-shoulder Kaufmanfranco gown flaunting her baby bump. She’s glowing!

Across the pond, Olivia Palermo went for a menswear-inspired look in a black suit belted at the waist with a pair of tulle-embellished pumps at the 2014 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Afterparty. Don’t you just love her style?

Jasmin Walia was also in London, grabbing dinner at Rosso in Manchester in a long coat, forest green bodycon dress, and her favorite Topshop sandals.

Art Basel is underway, thus Jessie J took to Logo TV’s 2014 NewNowNext Awards in Miami Beach in a leather pencil skirt and lace-up sandals. Cute look!

Miranda Kerr was spotted at Louis Vuitton’s Dinner at Jewel Box in MIA in a head-to-toe look from the iconic French fashion house. Does she ever have an off day?

Also at the event was Kate Hudson in a flirty LV frock. Stunning!

Lady Gaga went glam in her hometown in pinup girl waves, a statement necklace, white gown, white fur, and fur-trimmed pumps.

At the La Ignoria de la Sangre Press Conference in Madrid, Paz Vega slipped on a print shirtdress for size.

Bella Thorne stuck to the classic combo of black and white while out and about in the Big Apple in a black leather jacket, leather pants, and white brogues. I’d wear this in a heartbeat!
