3 Activities To Do At Disney That Won’t Make You Feel Like A Kid

romantic dinnerWhen you think of a vacation to Walt Disney World you usually envision the iconic characters that every kid idolizes, or the countless number of themed resort options. But I’m here to convince you that a trip to the greatest place on earth can be a fantastic place to get away and leave the kids at home with the nanny.
With a little planning and some help from my curated cheat sheet below, you can instantly turn this kid-friendly vacation spot into your next “adults only” trip.

1. Victoria & Alberts

After you satisfy the big kid that lives inside of your heart (read: snap a selfie with Minnie Mouse), you should indulge yourself in one of the finest dining experiences there is at Disney World. Victoria & Albert’s is an award-winning American cuisine perfect for you and your loved one. Make sure you request the chef’s table where chef de cuisine crafts a personalized menu of up to 10 courses. Wow!
2. La Cava del Tequila at Epcot

La Cava del Tequila at Epcot not only celebrates the true heritage of Tequila making in Mexico, but you also have the opportunity to enjoy quick bites of traditional Mexican grub. They had me at “freshly made guacamole!”
3. Atlantic Dance Hall

Let’s just say this is your yearly family getaway with all 20 of the grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Leave the kids with grandma for the evening and head out to the Atlantic Dance Hall and party the night away in this elegant Art Deco ballroom. And when your heels have officially given up after all that dancing, you can take a breather and enjoy the romantic view of the crisp blue waters of Crescent Lake.
So, you’re ready for your next “adult only” trip to Disney, right?
