Fashion-Forward: Tech Fashion Is No Longer A Thing Of The Future

fashion techThe imagined future of Marty McFly’s hoverboard-infested cityscape has come and gone; we are now living in the future. And although our time traveling skills are a bit behind schedule, it seems that high-tech future fashion is officially wire-ing its way into today’s fabric.
Last week, the Met Gala set the official tech tone as it announced the theme for its next costume ball: Manus X Machina: Fashion in the Age of Technology. In the same week, French fashion house Hermes pioneered the ultimate Apple/high-fashion collab as it launched its leather-wrap Apple wrist watch into the world. And yet, all of this seems to be just the beginning of what’s possible when the infinite creative powers of technology and design collide.
