Jennifer Lopez is a certified fan of Zuhair Murad, and it seems the designer channelled the Latina Bombshell for his Fall 2014 couture collection. From high hems to high slits, exposed shoulders and jaw dropping colors, the showing was imagined for a woman unafraid to stand out and sizzle.
Colors skewed bold and bright with metallics playing alongside cherry reds, cobalt blues, and seafoam greens.
Swirling patterns mixing the foray’s main colors played on floor and
thigh sweeping frocks, boasting gathered bustles in the back and front.
Hot pants and minis on a couture runway? Sure! Murad made sure his main
customers had ensembles for everything from galas to on stage
performances.
Lattice like, branch inspired cut outs, which appeared on the runway’s
backdrop, were rendered via sequins on sleeves, bodices, and hems.
I almost can’t wait to see what La Lopez may pluck from this stunningly
beautiful bunch, though I have a feeling the more sultry looks will be
on her short list.
