It’s Thursday everyone!
I won’t lie — domestic and world events have me a bit shaken up right now, but I’m happy to always find an escape with fashion: even if it’s just for a moment. Though sometimes designers’ inspirations can be heavy, for the most part it’s an art form that is fun and feel-good for all involved. I hope that in times of turmoil, you too find a bit of solace in it to raise your spirits.
With that being said, let’s have some fun by looking at the hottest ensembles of the week shall we?

Though this was a bit dark for Summer, I’d definitely wear this come the first few weeks of autumn.
Mary J. Blige let her hair and black mesh booties do the talking at the 5th Annual Kiehl’s Life Ride Celebration. Cropping her trousers definitely would’ve given her statement-making footwear more time to shine, but I have no qualms with this ‘fit otherwise.
