Hi all! This weekend was definitely a stylish one, especially with so many red…well…blue carpet hits at last night’s Teen Choice Awards. But what about the other celebs who didn’t attend and took to Instagram to show case their enviable ensembles? Let’s take a gander at who made it to the top this week, and who stumbled on the way to get there.First up is Zendaya at last night’s Teen Choice Awards. She flexed her sartorial skills with an outfit change into a zebra print Ungaro shirt dress and Nicholas Kirkwood boots. Fierce, fun, fabulous, if I do say so myself. Hot!
This summer’s definitely a hot one, but Keke Palmer isn’t here for the competition. Serving back and body in a curve hugging number, the multi-hyphenate showed us her sultry side and punctuated her sultry look with a pair of patent leather $625 Christian Louboutin “So Kate” pumps.
Hey Brandy! The soulful crooner showed us her dainty side when she posted this pic of herself wearing an Alexander McQueen dress. Soft makeup and minimal bling allowed her printed frock to shine.
Actress and style blogger Ashley Madekwe showcased her weekend wares in her latest Instagram pic. Skewing cool and fashionably unbothered, she wore a Bec & Bridge jacket, an Anine Bing tee-shirt, vintage Levi cut off shorts and a $1,275 pair of Balenciaga “Ceinture” ankle boots. I like!
Cute couple Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union attended a friend’s wedding on the weekend, and posted a few pics of the festivities. Dwyane, who was all smiles, looked dapper, as usual, in a black suit, striped bow tie and monk strap shoes. Gabrielle, unsurprisingly, wore a little black dress and strappy sandals. While they complement each other so well, hmm… my personal view on wearing black at weddings may cloud my judgement. And though the fit of Gabby’s dress is impeccable, we still want some color, girl!
Ashanti played ultimate tourist while riding a tour bus in Times Square. Taking in all NYC has to offer, the singer wore a Parker New York “Hartley” dress and a white pair of Louboutin pumps. Love it! And the blonde bob slays me down!
And last, but not least, is Basketball Wives LA star Laura Govan, who snapped a few pics after a night out with her kids at the Teen Choice Awards.Laura’s style has evolved tremendously, and this look is testament to why. She wore a $295 Muehleder halter peplum dress, gigantic hoop earrings and a nude pair of Louboutin “So Kate” pumps. Slightly casual, but still amazingly chic.
