Fast fashion retailer Zara has come under fire for their “White is the new black” tee. Though the slogan shirt can’t be found on the company’s site now, the brand drew ire from the public when media outlets began to feature it on their sites, most citing the first posting to fashion blogger Kristiana V. While Kristiana notes that she took the shirt in a trend context, many believe it was short sighted and insenstive of the brand to print the tees at all. Hmm…what do you think? (NY Post)
