Two St. Louis, Missouri Malls Close After Mike Brown Black Friday ‘Die In’ Demonstration.

While many across the nation boycotted Black Friday to protest the Mike Brown verdict, some Missouri residents took the boycott one step further, staging ‘die ins’ at the St. Louis Galleria and Chesterfield Malls.

According to an article on NecoleBitchie.com, more than 100 protesters staged a die in at the malls, laying down on the floor for 4 and a half minutes to symbolize the 4 and a half hours Mike Brown’s deceased body lay on the street.

The article says, “The demonstrators originally entered the mall chanting “black lives matter” and “stop don’t shoot… Several shoppers, and even some Macy’s employees, stopped to chant and walk with the group. Other stores closed up after the rally began.”


Well, that’s way to send a message.
