The annual Black Girls Rock concert went down last night in Newark, New Jersey, with a star studded roster of fabulous attendees.

Janelle Monae–is that you? I love how much she’s experimenting with her signature black and white color palette in interesting ways. Her RVN crop top and skirt, floral coat, and DSquared2 sandals were a win in my book. Hot!
The ever photogenic Smith family was in the building, with little Willow looking modelesque in a gray suit. Jada sizzled in a white strapless Versace dress and Christian Louboutin platforms; Will looked rogue in a patterned satin suit jacket and a scruffy beard. They’re a beautiful group!
Speaking of gorgeousness, get into three generations of stunning women! Jada and Willow grabbed a pic with Jada’s mom, Adrienne Banfield-Jones. Bam!
Ciara went for simplicity in a black satin lingerie like Nili Lotan gown.
Director Ava Duvernay red dress was regal and elegant. Don’t you just live for her?
Kat Graham oozed sass in a Barbara Bui tube top, Anthony Vaccarello skirt, and Christian Louboutin pumps.
Jill Scott threw up a fist in a figure hugging jumpsuit, topped off by an Afro.
One of the night’s hosts, Tracee Ellis Ross, looked fantastic in a white gown from Bibhu Mohapatra’s Spring 2015 collection.
Her co-host Regina King sizzled in silver.
And lastly, nside…
First Lady Michelle Obama addressed the crowd, putting an emphasis on education. Loving her white shift and silver pumps. Chic!
