We all know that Beyoncé is staging a major collaboration with Topshop, but the songstress and internationally-renowned superstar is also working on a collection with famed shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti:
The designs are being released in one to two weeks, as Zanotti revealed in an interview with Forbes.com today. “I’m doing a shoe with Beyoncé right now. Beyoncé has very clear ideas — she knows exactly what she wants. The thing which she then also has over other celebrities, is that she has an amazing voice. She’s incredibly talented and she’s an amazing dancer — she’s complete. Few are like Beyoncé”.
Zanotti revealed that he is working on the shoe with Mrs. Knowles-Carter’s stylist, Ty Hunter. Unfortunately for the Beyhive, the collaboration will be comprised of one shoe only. The interviewer, Declan Eytan, described the sketch as an “ultra thick platform stiletto”, which we already know B loves because of her frequent wear of her Azzedine Alaïa heeled biker boots.
By the likes of what Zanotti offers up season after season, we can expect the shoes to have a hefty price tag. That may not matter much though, as women clamor to buy whatever Beyoncé slips on, no matter what the price.
