Happy 40th birthday, Angelina Jolie!
Hard to believe that this screen siren has hit the big 4-0, but it's true—and we're already envisioning the next decade of smoldering movie roles and even-more-smoldering red carpet looks to come. In honor of Angie's 40th, we're rounding up some of her most leg-baring looks to date and, oh, you know we're starting with the one that spawned countless right leg memes and nearly broke the Internet before, well, breaking the Internet was a thing. That's right: The black velvet Atelier Versace gown the star wore to the 2012 Oscars.
But turns out that Angelina's been a fan of slit-to-there (and plunging-to-there) dresses even before that legendary Oscar look, and we have a rundown of our other favorites, including the clingy, blush-hued Versace gown she wore to support hubby Brad Pitt at the Inglourious Basterds premiere in 2011 and the snow white angora Versace frock she donned to the New York premiere of The Tourist in 2010. The actress has worn high-slit numbers in midi form too: We still can't forget that belted Michael Kors dress she sported at the Los Angeles premiere of Kung Fu Panda 2 back in 2011.
The actress went for a black Michael Kors dress again for the 2012 Producers Guild Awards, flaunting her fit arms in the lace-sleeve design (well, and that leg). Then there are her Golden Globes gowns: The red-trimmed Atelier Versace frock she wore in 2012, as well as the tiered, iridescent gown she wore to the 2009 ceremony (also, if you're sensing a pattern now, by Atelier Versace). Slit to perfection, if you will.
