Mariah Carey and her beau James Packer are taking their romance to the Holy Land.
E! News has learned that the billionaire businessman took his new leading lady to visit a country that's very near and dear to him: Israel!
"They are very happy together. It was important to James that he took Mariah to the Western Wall for the first time. She has been all over the world but never to Israel," an insider tells us.
"They are incredibly happy and it was a very romantic moment for the two of them. Her children are also there and you can tell by the way he was looking at her that this relationship is meaningful and that their relationship is going to the next level."
"There is only one place at the Western Wall where men and woman can stand together and it was meaningful for him to take her there so that they could share this very intimate moment as a couple."
A second insider close to the twosome added, "It was more a spiritual journey then anything. He is aware Carey has the world at her fingertips but he likes to find things that she has never experienced."
The new duo has been spotted all over Europe over the last several days, including a yacht-filled family trip to Capri.
And while their relationship seems to be getting serious very quickly, another source close to the two says it's still too soon to know if tying the knot is in the cards.
"They are not talking marriage…She's enjoying his company…This trip is a chance for her to really get to know him." The insider added, however, that "she's having a lot of fun being courted!"
