And that's a wrap for day two!
After
pouring over the dreamy opening day collections, we were back at it
again today for even more must-see New York Fashion Week shows. Day two
reaffirms that there are some clear trends cropping up on the runway
already, including delicate halter necklines, punchy coral separates and
"gimme that" worthy skirts featuring sharp knife pleats.
With
some fashion heavy-hitters showing today, including first-time New York
Fashion Week presenter Riccardo Tisci, whose Givenchy brought some major star power out to Hudson River Park these are shows you do not want to miss.

For the ultimate in
cool-girl chic, look no further than the duo behind Cushnie Et Ochs:
This season, keyhole cutouts, sexy black leather one-pieces and
slim-fitting silhouettes were fodder for fashionista sighs at Carly
Cushnie and Michelle Ochs spring-summer presentation.

The trend story at
Kate Spade was not necessarily new (sequin sheath dresses, flouncy tiers
and polka dots abound, as per always)—which is why the kitschy,
too-chic-for-words (almost) accessories really caught our attention. From ice cream truck clutches to wicker beehive bucket bags, we're taken with it all.

Does Jason Wu ever
disappoint? The answer to that is definitively no. Frothy coral dresses,
waist-cinching coats and watercolor prints were par the covetable
course on his catwalk.
Whew!
