Three things come to mind when I think of this wee’s beauty crush; red carpet icon, Selena Quintanilla, and the movie Death Becomes Her. The latter may have a few of you scratching your heads, but think about it. In my mind, Jennifer Lopez
has to have that age-defying elixir Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn
fought over in the film. The woman is stunning. But in the real world,
J. Lo attributes her youthfulness to staying healthy, getting enough
sleep, and her adorable twins, Max and Emme. While she hardly needs
makeup, when La Lopez gets rouged up, we all can’t help but stare with
our jaws dropped.
J.Lo loves to sport a glossy nude lip these days. So much so, she’s hardly without it.
But
every now and then, she likes to dial up her glam with a pop of red or
plum, depending on the rest of her ensemble. For additional drama, she
loves to serve a little intrigue with a subtle smokey eye or really
great lashes.
When
it comes to this global superstar, showcasing versatility with looks is
paramount. Pressure to always look great aside, J. Lo. seems to enjoy
changing it up for herself. From a head full of voluminous curls to
cropped to waist length and bone straight, she’s done it all.
Does anyone else love it when she does a high, mod-inspired ponytail?
Here’s to Jennifer Lopez, who just won’t quit. Despite her busy schedule – World of Dance premiering soon and a new season of Shades of Blue
on air now – there’s no stopping this bombshell. She seems to be
having the time of her life now, new guy and all. And though we can’t
wait to see her beam in gorgeous couture pieces on a red carpet, we
ought to pay attention to the trends she sets beauty-wise.
What say you to this week’s pick?
