Fausto Puglisi’s Fall 2015 Collection is not for the faint of heart. The Sicilian designer’s flashy duds oozed punk sensuality and proved that skin was certainly “in”. Puglisi’s individual pieces housed intricate detailing while giving fashion lovers a taste of styling at its best.
Mounds of color, embellished leather and loads of jewelry dominated Puglisi’s presentation. With the incorporation of edgy prints and an enviable coat game, it was clear that this collection was about about the details. I guess high slits, cutouts and floor-length coats are this fall’s go-to pieces! Sidenote: Did you also catch the models rocking the polished sea coral?!
I’ve always been a fan of designers who push the envelope -and Puglisi’s fashionable attempt to merge timeless classics with modern favorites was a success. In addition, his fearlessness was evident throughout the entire runway display. The juxtaposition between the contrasting elements are what make this presentation memorable. Bravo!
