It is with great sadness i report that designer Mychael Knight has passed away at age 39. According to Obvious Mag, he died at 7:25am EST outside of Atlanta, Georgia on October 17, 2017.
A champion of cut and color, the Atlanta native made his mark in the fashion industry when he placed 4th in Season 3 of Project Runway. After completing the show, he went on to pour fire into his eponymous label, Mychael Knight, with a custom clientele.
How unfortunate that such a unique talent has gone way too soon.
