Best Looks Of The Week

Hey ya’ll!
We’ve made it to yet another glorious weekend and it feels so freakin’ good!
But, before we dive into our annual R&R festivities, let’s get into some of our favorite celebrity looks!

1) First Lady Michelle Obama in Atelier Versace
First Lady Michelle Obama showed us what it really means to effortlessly slay as she donned a custom, rose gold chainmail gown by Atelier Versace for her final State Dinner. With President Barack Obama at her side, Mrs. Obama shimmered and shined for the entire world to behold! The regal number boasts ruched side detailing and a clean silhouette. While receiving over 25,000 likes via Instagram, I think it’s safe to say that this ensemble is beyond worthy of Look of the Week status. Sidenote: Am I the only one who’s going to miss the entire Obama family?!
2) Ciara in Houghton
Our girl Ciara has landed yet another monumental beauty campaign. If you haven’t heard, the model/singer recently solidified her new role as Revlon’s new Global Brand Ambassador! To celebrate her bomb accomplishment, the brand hosted a lux shindig in CiCi’s honor  where she uplifted a flowy, cream satin suit by Houghton. The fashionista’s classic frock includes a sleek longline blazer, high-waisted wide legs trousers and a delicate lace bralet; in addition, bold, blonde locks and flawless makeup completed her look. Hot!
3) Chrissy Teigen in Michael Kors
Model Chrissy Teigen was on hand for the God’s Love We Deliver Heart Awards while showing off her impeccable post-baby bod in a tantalizing embellished LBD that was showcased in Michael Kors’s Spring 2017 presentation. The semi-sheer stunner boasts a rounded neckline, a sophisticated midi length and statement chiffon ruffling that cascades down the sleeves and towards to hem. The style maven accessorized her chic look perfectly by adding a waist-cinching belt and a pair of delicate black ankle strap sandals. Looking good, Chrissy!
4) Katy Perry in Marchesa
When it comes to Katy Perry, I can truly respect her style choices. I mean, you can never pinpoint which designer she’ll rock next nor can you predict the fashion aesthetic of her upcoming red carpet appearance. It turns out she’s completely unpredictable. And, I’m here for every single moment! In this instance, while gracing the cameras at the Once Upon A Time Gala, our fashion fave shut it down in a halterneck, floral embellished gown from Marchesa’s Spring 2017 collection. Super cute, no?
5) Iman in Michael Kors
The legend herself, Iman, was also in attendance for the God’s Love We Deliver Heart Awards looking every bit of radiant! The 61-year-old bombshell gave all onlookers a quick lesson as to how you truly slay mixed textures as she wore a $1,450 charcoal Ostrich Feather Embroidered Top, $6,995 silver Metallic Embroidered Stretch Tulle Trousers and $750 black ‘Robyn’ pumps (all by the iconic Michael Kors). While some argue that the outfit was too “busy”, I approve 100%! Now, say what you want but Iman looks absolutely breathtaking. To all my stylish millennials out there, ya’ll better take notes!
6) Beyonce in Guillermo Giattoni
Of course, the Tidal x 1015 concert was one for the books! With some of music’s brightest talents all under the same roof, it was undoubtedly one of the most memorable events of 2016. There was just a wide variety of events that took place: We witnessed the power of Tidal and its presence within the music industry, we got a slight taste of Nicki Minaj’s twerking skills and, as Beyonce promised, she came to slay! The Houston-born superstar turned heads and caused multiple jaws to drop (including my own) as she flaunted her enviable frame in a transparent, beaded gown by Guillermo Giattoni. The show-stopping piece is reminiscent of edgy tribal designs and also includes on-trend off-the-shoulder features. Honestly, not everyone loved Bey’s choice of attire, but the Beyhive stood strong and helped their Queen garner almost 10,000 likes on the ‘Gram. Pretty impressive, right? She better werk!
What do you think of the contenders?
