amfAR’s 22nd Cinema Against AIDS Gala
Stars always bring their style A-game to the amfAR galas around the world and the latest in Cap d’Antibes, France was no exception. From gorgeous white gowns to Couture stunners, nothing was off limits at one of the most glamorous nights of the year.
Here’s what they wore for the evening:
Chanel Iman has truly been winning on the red carpet at Cannes this year and she was simply breathtaking in a long-sleeve tulle-embellished gown with a plunging v-neckline from Zuhair Murad’s Spring 2015 Couture collection. She looked like a total princess and this definitely deserves a round of applause.
Rita Ora slipped on a sexy strapless Marchesa gown with an asymmetric ruffled peplum detail and a black sash nipping her waist. The fit left a bit to be desired unfortunately: this could have been one of the night’s best looks!
Zoe Kravitz was a vision in a white flowing gown from Vionnet. I loved her red lip here, but a chignon would’ve let her dress make more of an impact.
Though Joan Smalls always effortlessly serves hair, makeup, skin, and body, her sheer-panel Givenchy cold-shoulder gown didn’t blow me away.
A blue Vera Wang mermaid number was on the menu for Jourdan Dunn. Hot!
Before performing at the event. Mary J. Blige flaunted her curves in a strapless, Swarovski beaded column gown from Versace.
Eva Longoria channeled her inner ice queen in a frosty blue Georges Hobeika Spring 2015 Couture gown with a plunging neckline. Eva hasn’t really delivered for me this year as she normally does at Cannes, but I did thoroughly enjoy the delicacy and celestial quality of this look.
Michelle Rodriguez went glam in a strapless Romona Keveza number with a stunning Chopard necklace.
With her second Elie Saab Couture gown at Cannes, Aishwarya Rai was a blue dream in a strapless embellished design from the brand. It almost felt conservative in comparison with her gown at the Youth Premiere, but it was charming nonetheless.
A white menswear-inspired Atelier Versace suit was Li Yuchun’s choice for the evening. This was tailored to perfection!
Diane Kruger showed off her toned gams in a sheer bodice Chanel Pre-Fall 2015 dress with a feather skirt. I live for her style.
Karolina Kurkova looked every bit the supermodel in a strapless button-front Alexis Mabille Couture gown. I loved the details of this dress!
Adriana Lima never fails to serve a sultry look and she did not disappoint in a black long-sleeve Alexandre Vauthier cutout gown with a thigh-high slit.
Kendall Jenner could not be missed in yet another midriff-baring look: this time a custom-made strappy bandeau halter top and high-wast maxi skirt from Calvin Klein. Pretty!
Gigi Hadid was a complete glamazon in a white long-sleeve Tom Ford with a plunging neckline and thigh-high slit.
Who had your favorite look at the gala?
