We guess all those years of modeling taught Miss Naomi Campbell a thing or two about keeping the coins rolling in.
Word is, the ageless supermodel and celebrated her 45th in Cannes and charged guests to be in her presence and to rub elbows with A-listers.
The New York Daily News reports, however, that not that many “confirmed” guests made it.
The emailed flyer for the shindig reportedly read: “Naomi will be
attending with a guest list of up to 200 of her close personal friends.”
And then: “It is a private event with a number of high profile guests
and we do not wish to sell to non-VIP’s.”
“People paid to get on the guest list,” a “spy” allegedly told the news site, with some dropping up to $1,800 to party with Leonardo DiCaprio and Mary J. Blige. And though, the invite also promised visits from Rihanna, Kate Moss and Harvey Weinstein, insiders said those folks never made it.
The “Empire” star reportedly had a great time, and got a little cash to go along with that flawless face.
