Empire's Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson to Host Spike's Guys Choice Awards 2015
Cookie and Lucious have a new hosting gig!
Empire co-stars Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Hensonwill host Spike's annual Guys Choice Awards.
The two also starred together in the critically acclaimed 2005 hip-hop drama Hustle and Flow. They have great on camera chemistry and should make entertaining hosts.
The executive producer of Guys Choice, Casey Patterso, said in a press release today, "We just worked with Terrence and Taraji on the upcoming season finale of Lip Sync Battle and I can promise you that adding their off-the-charts chemistry into the Guys Choice mix will make for one of the most unpredictable nights of the year. Gird your loins boys, Cookie is coming to town!"
Howard's last award show appearance was at the Oscars but this time around the golden Oscars statues will be replaced with golden antler horns—aka "mantlers"—representing the stag: a symbol of all things manly.
We can expect humorous categories like "Most Manticipated Movie", "Funniest M.F." and "Brass Balls."
Honorees will include Liam Neeson as "Biggest Ass Kicker," Chris Pratt, who is taking over Matthew McConaughey's reign for "Guy of The Year," Taraji P. Henson for "Jean Cluade Gahd Damn," Dwayne Johnson for "Troop's Choice," Hannah Davis for "Our New Girlfriend" and Russel Westbrook for "Top Fantasy Leaguer."
Ben Kingsley, Avan Jogia, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are just a few of the celeb presenters.
The award show will air on Spike on June 18.
