Happy Friday all!
Let’s jump straight into the contenders for our Look of the Week round-up!

1) KeKe Palmer in Alice + Olivia

Actress/singer KeKe Palmer made a grand appearance at a recent event while rocking a red, blue and green sequin embellished mini dress from Alice + Olivia’s Fall 2016 collection. The 23-year-old fashionista also debuted an ultra-sleek pixie cut and strappy perspex sandals. While KeKe continues to win the hearts of millions on social media, the starlet is also stepping up her personal style game. Love it!
2) Gwen Stefani in Marchesa

Glamour Magazine’s “Woman of the Year” Gwen Stefani was a force to be reckoned with as she graced the event’s awaiting red carpet. Styled by Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, the style maven it all the way down in a custom ebony and ivory chiffon ombre gown by Marchesa. The ethereal design boasts a criss-cross halterneck feature, a hard-to-miss train and the perfect amount of elegance. Gwen always manages to look so well put together and she nails it every single time.
3) Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad

Last night, I almost shouted to the heavens over a quick pic of Slay Lo at the 17th Annual Latin Grammy Awards. Not only did flaunt her enviable curves and a new ‘do, but the fashion icon also gave yet another nod to one of her favorite designers Zuhair Murad. We’ve witnessed the superstar uplift some of his most daring pieces but this plunging embroidered jumpsuit was on a completely different level. With strategically-placed detailing and a lux appeal, I think it’s safe to say that this woman is one hot momma! Sidenote: And, no one can slay the sheer look better than Jenny!
4) Lupita Nyong’o in Elie Saab

Lupita Nyong’o brought a large dose of #BlackGirlMagic to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’s 8th Annual Governors Awards in a gold floral embellished gown from Elie Saab’s Fall 2015 presentation. The award-winning actress took a cue from the runway and topped off her look with a pair of strappy metallic sandals and minimal accessories. The melanin was poppin’, her makeup was impeccable and Lupita proved, yet again, that ladylike vibes will never go out of style. Isn’t she just flawless?
5) Janelle Monae in Toni Maticevski

Electric Lady Janelle Monae was decked out in her signature black and white color palette as she sent fashion lovers into a sartorial frenzy at the 8th Annual Governors Awards. The dazzling bombshell struck all the right notes as she donned a strapless graphic print Toni Maticevski Fall 2016 ruffle gown, vintage-inspired curls and edgy diamond accents. It’s always dope to see Janelle add her eclectic aesthetic to modest ensembles. She just gets it!
6) Chanel Iman in KaufmanFranco

Chanel Iman is another fashionista that can rock practically anything. I mean, she can wear a burlap sack and still look absolutely stunning! Well, in this edition of “Models Who Slay Our Lives”, the gorgeous it girl channeled her inner 70’s disco vixen while wearing a glistening KaufmanFranco sequin gown for Glamour Magazine’s Women of the Year 2016 event. In addition to its eye-catching capability, the dress also houses a high neckline, a clean silhouette and skin-baring cutouts. Chanel completed her look with dark flowing curls, delicate makeup and a box clutch. Hot!
