Fashion Scoop: Keija Minor Of Brides Magazine Talks How She Made It, and Riccardo Tisci Didn’t Know Who Kim Kardashian Was Before Kanye.
- NastyGal just made one of the most blatant knockoffs of the season
with an earring design they posted to their site. The intricate, one
ear, design first appeared on the Celine runway with tassels and
dangling chains. And though we haven’t seen the price of the original,
NastyGal is hocking their option for $25. It’s sad really. (Fashionista)

- Keija Minor is the Editor-in-Chief of Conde Nast which makes her the
first — and only — African American helping one of their magazines to
walk those halls. The news broke two years ago and it was pretty
significant, breaking a 103 year streak at Conde Nast with no EICs of
color. In a recent interview Minor talks about her road to her current
role and how she plans to grow Brides Magazine with licenses amongst
other things, under her watch. (StyleBlazer)

- And now for slightly humorous news that I’ve been giggling about all
morning. In Korea Nort Face set up a pop-upshop to allow customers to
shop their new line. What the shoppers didn’t know was that the whole
thing was a game of sorts, where associates fled the store and removed
the floor forcing the customers to use the convenient rock wall. Check
out the video above. (Racked)
- Before Kim and Kanye were a thing, Riccardo Tisci didn’t really know
anything about the Kardashian family. Though they now run as thick as
thieves, Tisci revealed in a recent interview that because he didn’t
really watch TV, the new Mrs. West wasn’t on his radar until Kanye
wanted to sit down for dinner and introduce them. Since then, they’ve
become very close and Tisci was honored that she asked him to design her
wedding dress. (British GQ)
