The 2014 Keep a Child Alive Black Ball.
Alicia Keys’s Keep A Child Alive Black Ball was particularly star studded this year, as Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci was the night’s honoree. From Madonna to Alek Wek, Kanye West and more, the stars came out to shine.
Take a look:
Lala Anthony skewed sultry in a black double breasted Moschino dress. Hot!
Her bestie Po Johnson looked positively pretty in a Haute Hippie feather trimmed creation.
The gorgeous Alek Wek twirled for the cameras in a deliciously printed green frock.
Selita Ebanks battled the fall chill in a turtleneck mohair sweater and a floor sweeping skirt.
Model Joan Smalls gave shoulder, cheek, face, and life in a sparkly cocoa colored frock.
Heyyyyyyy, Nas.
Estelle looked regal in a Gustavo Cadile number.
Padma Lakshmi was simply stunning in a plunging teal Cushnie et Ochs Fall 2014 gown, equipped with sultry cut outs.
Cut outs were also on deck for Angela Simmons, who worked a custom Michael Costello piece.
Her uncle Russell Simmons kept it simple in a tailored tux, but offered his own sartorial twist with crisp white Adidas sneakers.
Gayle King went for short and spicy in blue sequins.
Rapper Angel Haze showed her allegiance to Givenchy in a printed top by the brand.
Glowmaven Latham Thomas added a chic headpiece to her formal ensemble.
A gold sparkly halter gown was Jeanette Jenkins’s choice for the night.
Bethann Hardison opted for an avant garde from her dress to her shoes.
Yes to Clive Davis, Aretha Franklin, and that gloriously fluffy pink fur coat.
Andre Leon Talley slipped on his signature cape for the festivities.
And Swizz Beatz cradled Alicia Keys’s baby bump as Alicia beamed in an off the shoulder Givenchy gown.
Inside…
Kanye grabbed a snap with Madonna and the night’s honoree, Riccardo Tisci.
And also jumped in a pic with Diddy.
Looks like the Black Ball was the place to be!
Who do you think was best dressed?
