Weekend Instagram Cuteness.
Happy Monday, folks! The weekend was jam packed with celeb sightings, and these style wars never seem to end. From the nations capital to the west coast, a few of our fave stars put up quite the fight on Instagram, as far as fashion is concerned. Who made it to the next round, and who got knocked out? Let’s take a look!
First up is Mel. B who was snapped while on stage during a taping of X Factor. She was certainly a vision in this $2,470 white silk crepe Chantilly lace Alessandra Rich dress. The lace at the bottom gave us subtlety in sexiness, and her slick hair amped up the entire look. Absolutely love it!
Rachel Zoe was pretty in pink in a tiered gown from her own collection. This A-list stylist definitely knows how to bring the glam, and her fur bolero did just that. A side part and cascading mane completed her gorgeous ensemble.
Letoya Luckett was snapped roaming the D.C. streets on her way to a Howard vs FAMU football game while promoting her new movie Drumline: A New Beat. Dressed in nearly all black, the singer and actress pumped it in a Goorin Brothers hat, All Saints top, Zara leather shorts, $1,895 Givenchy shark lock leather pant boots, a Chanel purse and Dita sunglasses. What I love about Letoya is that she always serves labels, and it never looks forced.
One of my faves, Angela Simmons, posed pseudo-nonchalantly on the streets of the concrete jungle she calls home. Decked in an array of colors, she wore a yellow leather Big Park jacket, a colorful top and red Olcay Gulsen ankle strap pumps. Hmm…the outfit itself, I like. Her hair, however seems to compete with everything her ensemble offered. A slick ponytail with a side part would’ve won me over here.
Gorgeous actress Teyonah Parris was all smiles and all sorts of fabulous before heading to the Beats to Beat Breast Cancer event over the weekend. One of the stars from the movie Dear White People (dying to watch it), chose an African inspired look by Zuvaa, a layered turquoise necklace and classic black pumps. And the hair gave Diana Ross realness. Hot!
Reppin’ for the guys is Ne-Yo, who hit the stage to perform in San Francisco during his #Nonfiction tour. Rocking the mic and shaking hands with the fans, Ne-Yo wore a burgundy Moods of Norway suit with a fedora, no less. This look? Two thumbs up!
And last, but not least, is the incomparable Pharrell wearing two pairs of Chanel sunglasses and throwing up peace signs. I’m convinced he stopped aging after 25. If his impeccable skin and his quirkiness in this snapshot doesn’t make you “happy” (see what we did there?), then I don’t know what will.
That’s it for this week! Who were your top picks?
