Brooklyn Museum’s Killer Heels Exhibit.
Shoe lovers rejoice!
Brooklyn Museum recently launched an exhibit called Killer Heels, which looks at fantastical, architectural, vertiginous heels from the 19th century to present.
Be ready to ogle creations by Manolo Blahnik, Nicolas Ghesquiere, Prada, Iris van Herpen and of course Christian Louboutin, watch fun videos (there’s a vogueing vignette that’s a must see), and just get lost in the land of sickeningly chic shoes.
“Killer Heels: The Art of the High-Heeled Shoe” runs through February 15th at the Brooklyn Museum, which is located at 200 Eastern Parkway, at Prospect Park. Get more information at BrooklynMuseum.org.
If you’re in New York, definitely swing by, then grab a glass of wine afterwards at the museum’s swanky Saul restaurant. It’s a fun, fashionable way to spend a day.
Check it out and let me know what you think!
