Fashion Scoop.
- It seems that for next Spring, the must-have accessory will be a
baby carriage. With a slew of editors and celebrities already having
announced their pregnancies, Coco Rocha has also announced hers. Taking
to Instagram, the model expressed how happy she is to be expanding her
family with her first child. Congratulations, Coco! (The Hollywood Reporter)

- While the White House has kept a very tight lid on the fashion
workshop and event they are to be hosting, reports have surfaced that
there’s a secret component in the works. First Lady Michelle Obama will
be hosting students and designers for an educational workshop and panel
discussion–which is where this project will be reportedly revealed.
While there aren’t any details, many expect for the moment of truth to
come soon after Anna Wintour introduces Obama. (WWD)
- The reported ongoing rivalry between Martha Stewart and Gwyneth
Paltrow was said to escalate when Paltrow hired Lisa Gersh — a former
chief of Martha Stewart Living — to be the CEO of Goop. Paltrow says
that Gersh is the perfect person to diversify her site’s opportunities
and possibly even bring new products (like a printed magazine) to
market. (Page Six)
- Even though she has passed, it seems the work of comedienne Joan
Rivers isn’t done yet. Much of the star’s wardrobe, which includes
everything from Roberto Cavalli and Vera Wang to Armani, were put up for
auction on an eBay shop in order to raise money for Rivers’s favorite
charity, God’s Love We Deliver. (Fashion Times)
- As was speculated, Nina Ricci has now confirmed Guillaume Henry as
their new creative director. The designer comes to the brand from
Carven and takes over from Peter Copping. Copping is still expected to
take a high-level design job at Oscar de la Renta. Henry will officially
end his duties with Carven at the beginning of November and start on
with Ricci in January. Carven has yet to name his replacement. (Fashionista)
