Oversized Hats.

So, indulge me for a few minutes. I’m hoping the Teewhy-hive readers will provide me with some type of explanation as to why this trend is spreading like wildfire!
Oversized hats are the objects in question. With the support of distinguished and celebrated fashion designers, the fresh take on this fall necessity has raised the eyebrows of critics everywhere, myself included.
Let’s start, shall we?

Honestly, I believe Pharrell is the one to blame for the craze. I mean, he makes everything look good! After his famous 2014 Grammy appearance, his eye-catching vintage Vivienne Westwood topper instantly garnered the attention of fashion lovers everywhere. Let’s face it –  this man is the epitome of cool!

Aside from Pharrell’s Grammy appearance, oversized hats have also blazed the runways while impacting some of the world’s top designers (including the legendary Donna Karan).  In the Spring 2015 presentation, among a plethora of abstract prints and tweed sets, the fashion house also revealed some serious headwear. Pretty extreme, huh?

With a slew of young fashionistas on the rise, sartorial risks are definitely worth taking. Let’s not forget Zendaya Coleman’s take on the trend! The beautiful performer donned an Emporio Armani Fall 2014 black, oversized hat at the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party in Hollywood, what’d you think?

This street style maven took a cue from Pharrell with her brightly colored head gear. I absolutely love how she mixed the complementing tartan prints while managing to add a dose of pizzazz with a thigh-high slit and bold jewelry. Yes!

Oversized beanies, anyone? Talk about hat overload! In this runway look, the model flaunts an enormously monstrous beige topper with a matching neutral-based ensemble. Eh, still on the fence about this one guys.
