Michael Costello Fall 2015.
For Fall 2015, Michael Costello stuck to the sexy sultry aesthetic for which he is known, offering barely there red carpet gowns with sheer details and hipbone high slits.
Said to be inspired by Japanese minimalism, Parisian Sparkle, and London’s layers, the celeb favorite worked with a palette of blacks and grays, allowing the fabrications and silhouettes to do the talking.
Cut outs, high slits, and dangerously low cut backs will ensure a scintillating awards season come Fall.
Jumpsuits covered the body, but still revealed all via sheer fabrics.
For the more conservative, Costello proposed a short selection of sheer sleeved gown, layered ensembles, and caped creations.
With the exception of a few looks, all I can say is: SCANDAL. Though I’m sure attendees Lilly Ghalichi, Adrienne Bailon, Christina Milian, and Karrueche Tran have worn similar gowns before, I’d be interested to see if they try the sheer options on for size.
What do you think?
