Happy Monday! In case you haven’t been keeping up, New York Fashion Week is in full swing. A slew of celebs came out in droves over the weekend to take in all the festivities surrounding this semi-annual event. Though i have shows and parties covered, let’s take a peek into the lives of our favorite stars who shared their wares via Instagram. Some brought their A-game, while others …should’ve gone back to the drawing board, especially given what week it is. Let’s get started!
Kicking off things this week, and filed under “All Things Adorable” are Beyonce and daughter Blue Ivy, sharing a Valentine’s Day “ussie” with their adoring fans. The honey bee facial appliques were a nice touch, wouldn’t you say? PS: This is the only time where puckered lips in a photo should matter.
Miss Rita Ora and her lovely blonde bob were spotted on the weekend, personifying the word “chic” in every way possible. The singer and Voice UK judge opted for separates in this look entirely by Au Jour Le Jour. The olive green leather outfit was delightfully unexpected. And the patchwork coat on top was the cherry on top. Hot!
Adrienne Bailon has been making a lot of rounds lately, so obviously, she’s at fashion week, slaying as per usual. The Real co-host was snapped leaving the Custo Barcelona show wearing a $623 Maje black faux fur coat with mongolian fur trim, $357 Alexandre Birman sandals and a 3.1 Philip Lim bag. Hot! Very downtown girl.
Angela Simmons stays on the go, so it’s no surprise she’d be out soaking up all the fashion week excitement. The mini-mogul wore a chambray Charlotte Ronson top and shorts before heading to a Hennessy vs Barneys New York event. Cute look for Ang, and the fur coat did a pretty decent job of elevating this outfit.
Zendaya, one of our favorite “it girls” of the moment, shared this snapshot of herself before taking in the DKNY show, wearing, DKNY, no less! I love the embellished bomber jacket, and the dress with the sheer overlay is simply beautiful. Pairing the two together was a genius move, in my opinion. Hot!
Lala Anthony went to a charity brunch hosted by basketball star hubby, Carmelo Anthony, on the weekend. Looking as beat as she did, it would’ve been utter sacrilege not to visually document this slaydom. She wore a $184 Clover Canyon ‘Ancient Parallels’ Sleeveless Crop Top with a $224 matching pencil skirt. And of course, to make this ensemble a wintry one, she added a long overcoat. Hot! Hair, makeup, just everything on fleek!
Christina Milian was in Connecticut over the weekend for the opening of a new night club. She opted for a much more muted palette than we’re accustomed to seeing from her But, we’re not complaining. The singer wore a camel colored Autumn Hawk pencil dress. Hmm…I love her makeup (which she did herself, by the way). The dress, however, makes me want to love it, but the epaulets on the dress compete with her large hoop earrings. If the epaulets weren’t there, this would’ve been a winner in my book.
Michelle Williams took a break from hosting duties at ABC’s The View to strike a pose for the ‘Gram. She sparkled in a golden DSquared2 top, a leather skirt by Givenchy and a J. Crew belt. Though I’m not blown away, it’s still a cute look and Michelle continues to go up on the style radars of many.
And last, but not least, is eye candy for the week Tyson Beckford, who was snapped while walking for Naomi Campbell’s Fashion For Relief a few nights ago. So, I’ll just rest this here for you all to get your lives abundantly and accordingly.
