The SNL 40th Anniversary Celebration.
The SNL 40th Anniversary Celebration went down last night at Rockefeller Plaza with a slew of stars in attendance. From menswear-inspired ensembles to LWDs, there was no shortage of head-turning fashion.
Let’s check out the evening’s ensembles!
Kerry Washington was white hot in an Adam Lippes tuxedo dress and Jimmy Choo lace pointed-toe pumps. Hot!
Lucy Liu was overdressed, but when you’re this gorgeous and you’ve slipped on a strapless Zuhair Murad gown that hardly matters right?
We can always count on Mellody Hobson for a bold high-fashion look and she did not disappoint in a colorful feather and tulle confection. I live for her style.
Maya Rudolph wore my favorite silhouette of all time in a black tuxedo-inspired jumpsuit. I liked this!
Al Sharpton always has a mean suit game, thus his navy, contrast lapel design wasn’t a surprise. His girlfriend, stylist Aisha McShaw, stole the show in a silver sequin gown. Isn’t she gorgeous?
Cuba Gooding Jr. chose a three-piece suit for the occasion.
Melissa McCarthy shimmered and sparkled in a black turtleneck and sequin-embellished maxi skirt from her own Melissa McCarthy Design collection. She’s never looked better!
A black sequin-adorned maxi skirt was also Gabourey Sidibe’s choice, along with a raspberry lip for a pop of color. This was well on its way to being my favorite look from her until the gold accessories.
Grace Hightower and Robert DeNiro were easily the best looking couple of the night.
Sarah Palin didn’t look like anyone’s Governor in an embellished LBD and black leather open-toe booties. The look needed some styling help, but I’m not mad at Mrs. Palin for showing out!
Ludacris ruined a perfectly good velvet suit jacket with Batman-esque shades, zip-accented trousers, and Jordans. Hmm…
Emma Stone cracked up in Dior alongside Larry David. I love these two!
I love a printed suit, but Jeanne Mai’s pairing was busier than it needed to be, with a statement neckline and metal cap-toe boots as accessories.
Who had your favorite look at the celebration?
