The bold penchants of the collection bled into the color palette of red, white, blue, and black.
Daring gowns, seemingly earmarked for Tinseltowns new age exhibitionists, reigned supreme. Think high slits, exposed shoulders, crop tops, and gowns with sides made entirely of sheer mesh.
Who can blame Donatella for sticking to what works? When the creative director veers in the ‘more fabric’ fold with flouncy skirts and copious materials, the looks can come off more costumey than couture.
Other short frocks, festooned with symbols and beads, seemed more apt for a majorette, not a major Hollywood starlet.
Rihanna and Ciara don’t wear a ton of Versace, but perhaps they should start with the more signature looks below. With their lithe bodies and confidence, they would slay all day.

Loved this whole collection! As a designer i notice how the simple bold colors and strong silhouettes make the images stick around in my brain.
