Tracy Reese Pre-Fall 2015.
Pre-Fall is easily one of the year’s most wearable seasons, thus Tracy Reese steeped her collection for the transitional period in functionality. The wares were quintessentially Reese — abundant in bright hues and effortless, ladylike separates.
A printed pencil skirt was paired with an embellished knit tank for a sense of daytime glamour, while an off-the-shoulder topper was brought together with a crystal-encrusted skirt for a touch of 80’s chic. Flat sandals spoke to the season’s transition from Summer to Fall and echoed the ease Reese sought to inject into the designs.
Outerwear came in the shape of a sleeveless belted trench that was simple and refined, a floral print-inspired number that had the fluidity of a robe, and a multicolor stripe number that could work with a sultry LBD or a pair of boyfriend jeans.
Patterns were aplenty including vibrant and artful Rothko-inspired prints on a cocktail-ready dress that hugged the figure, florals given shimmer and sparkle with allover sequins, and miniature polka dots on an easy flounce hem frock and office-perfect trousers.
Tracy Reese outfits the coolest girls in the industry and this collection definitely demonstrates how they love to dress from sun-up to sundown, weeknight to weekend. Nothing was forced or contrived — it seemed to take little to no effort which is the thing true style is made of.
