Weekend Cuteness.
Happy Monday everyone!
I’m still spinning a bit from the glamour of the Golden Globes — hope you all tuned in and got your dose of fashion.
This weekend, celebs hit the red carpet at the numerous Golden Globe afterparties, AFI Awards, 4th Annual Sean Penn Friends Help Haiti Home Benefit, and were spotted out and about in cities all around the globe.
Let’s see what they wore!
After her dazzling Zuhair Murad number, Jennifer Lopez slipped into a white crop top and maxi skirt from Amanda Wakeley for the Weinstein Company and Netflix Golden Globes Party. Hot!
Amber Rose kept it simple and chic at the NBC Golden Globes bash, taking a cue from J.Lo in all-white in a long-sleeve ruffle-accented confection with a zip-front. She’s never looked better.
Naya Rivera certainly turned a few heads in a high-neck, long-sleeve silver lace gown from Christian Siriano’s Fall 2014 offerings. This is definitely one of my favorite looks of the weekend.
Rita Ora wore the color of the night, slipping on a strapless Zac Posen Spring 2015 gown for size.
Game of Thrones beauty Nathalie Emmanuel chose a black embellished high-neck crop top and maxi skirt with sheer insets at the InStyle and Warner Bros. Golden Globes shindig, accented by gorgeous curls. Isn’t she stunning?
A sultry sheer fringe ensemble with a plunging neckline was Maggie Q’s choice. This was fabulous.
Kat Graham kept it relatively tame at the Fox Searchlight Golden Globes fête in a white and navy checkered inset textured top, black pleated skirt, and studded pumps.
Salma Hayek’s strapless cobalt draped number with a thigh-high slit was exactly what I wished she had worn to the actual awards show!
Jamie Chung gave her black strapless, eyelet-detailed dress a pop of color with red accoutrements at the Audi Celebrates Golden Globes Week 2015 party. I live for her style!
Alessandra Ambrosio looked every bit the supermodel in a sheer embroidered magenta Zuhair Murad design. Pretty!
I’m usually a fan of anything Paz Vega slips on, but her long-sleeve Elie Saab gown with a sequin bodice, plunging neckline, and thigh-high slit didn’t work for me this time around.
Alyssa Milano was gilded in a gold embellished gown.
Hilary Duff went glam in one of the night’s favorite silhouettes: a strapless Rani Zakhem Couture design with a sweetheart neckline that fit her like a second skin.
Gams were on display for Bella Thorne in a sequin embellished mini dress. This was youthful and fun — perfect for an afterparty.
Last, but not least at the Golden Globe festivities was one of my favorite babes from across the pond, Kelly Brook, who stuck to the classic combination of black and white in a two-tone number with a sheer inset bodice. Hot!
How To Get Away With Murder actress Aja Naomi King went bold at the 15th Annual AFI Awards in a hot pink frock. I cannot wait until this show returns — she gives us great looks both on and off screen.
All eyes are on Ava Duvernay this awards season and she showed us how to wear trousers in a boyfriend blazer, sheer top, and high-waist white pants. She continues to impress me. I cannot wait to see her next ensemble!
Selma star David Oyelowo has been quietly owning the menswear style scene, taking to the awards show in a plaid sportcoat, striped tie, and embellished brogues. Can you say swoon-worthy?
The color of the weekend was red! Alexa Vega wore it at the Spare Parts LA Premiere where she went glam in a short-sleeve lace gown.
Angela Bassett also wore the fiery hue at the Winter TCA Tour Day 2 in a v-neck, form-fitting design. She’s always the inspiration.
Yaya DaCosta borrowed from the boys in head-to-toe white. Hot!
Before slaying on the red carpet, Chrissy Teigen traipsed through LAX with her adorable bulldog in tow, wearing a grey fedora, grey coat, destructed denim, and lace-up sandals. This is much more dolled up than I’ve ever been on any plane, but this is how you roll when you’re a model right?
At the 4th Annual Sean Penn Friends Help Haiti Home Benefit, Garcelle Beauvais could not be missed in a turquoise draped dress and her favorite Sergio Rossi Swarovski Crystal Booties. She simply gets more beautiful with each year!
Gwen Stefani was her effortlessly cool self in a black leather moto jacket, destructed denim, and pointed-toe pumps at the Paddington Hollywood Premiere. Does she ever have an off-day?
A multicolor embroidered lace dress was Jessica Parker-Kennedy’s choice at the Vikings TCA Party in Pasadena.
Khloe Kardashian and Kendall Jenner got in some quality sisterly bonding time taking in a basketball game at the Staples Center. How cute was Kendall’s lace hood?
At the Art of Elysium Gala, Shameless beauty Shanola Hampton wore a cheerful yellow strapless number with an asymmetrical hem, offset by cobalt sandals.
Usher was also there, giving us a classic menswear moment with a simple black suit and wide-brim hat.
Who had your favorite look this weekend?
