The 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards.
The 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards are going down tonight in LA with my favorite television hosts, singers, and fashionable stars in attendance. From embellishment to va-va-voom gowns, there will be tons to talk about all week long!
Let’s get into the looks!
Beyoncé called on the Proenza Schouler guys for a custom embellished black gown. I would’ve preferred her hair pulled up here, but this was stunning nonetheless.
Rihanna was the belle of the ball in a strapless pink Giambattista Valli Couture number. Pure perfection.
Nicki Minaj was the definition of va-va-voom in Tom Ford. This will go down as one of my favorite looks from her ever.
Jennifer Hudson also sported Tom Ford, in a pared-down white dress from the designer.
Kim Kardashian served boudoir chic in a Jean Paul Gaultier robe-inspired gown, alongside husband (and secret stylist) Kanye West who performed his new tune, “Only One” at the awards show. They both served cleavage and I couldn’t have been happier.
Can you tell Ciara has a thing for Alexandre Vauthier? She sported another gown from the designer, in a one-shoulder black wispy gown showcasing her toned gams.
Miley Cyrus took a cue from Ciara’s cutout Alexandre Vauthier gown from the Pre-GRAMMY Gala and sported a sleeveless black version.
Zendaya Coleman debuted a short ‘do and a colorful striped one-shoulder Vivienne Westwood dress. This girl gets it doesn’t she? I loved this look.
Katy Perry dyed her hair lavender and chose a sheer fringe-embellished Zuhair Murad dress for the night. The designer is a red carpet favorite and you can see why here. This was gorgeous!
John Legend opted for a grey suit with contrast lapels, while Chrissy Teigen looked every bit the model in a skintight white Emilio Pucci gown. They’re easily one of my favorite duos.
Hot couples were one of the night’s biggest trends! Pharrell and wife Helen Lasichanh suited up in Adidas. I expected this from him and though I loved her catsuit for say a weekend sighting, it was much too casual for the red carpet.
Big Sean looked swoon-worthy in head-to-toe Saint Laurent while Ariana Grande turned more than a few heads in Versace. No complaints here — fabulous couple here ladies and gents!
Lady Gaga shimmered and sparkled in a silver Brandon Maxwell dress. Yes to the curves Stefani!
A black strappy Michael Costello design with a plunging neckline and thigh-high slit was on the menu for Ashanti. I’m surprised that more artists didn’t wear his pieces for the night.
Gwen Stefani wore my favorite silhouette of all time in a strapless Atelier Versace jumpsuit. This woman continues to age backwards…her style is impeccable.
Rita Ora glimmered in a custom Prada gown. Her new haircut is IT.
Yanina has been on my radar for a few months now, thus I was thrilled to see Kat Graham in a black and white floral embroidered gown from the designer and a pair of AS29 Lucy Small Earrings. Hot!
Chris Brown chose a My Bob Collection fedora, Prada bow tie, DSquared2 suit, Dolce & Gabbana shirt, and vintage Cartier shades. Such a major and unfortunate hmm…
Madonna served “Take A Bow” matador realness in a getup from Givenchy, naturally. Only Queen Mother M could pull this off!
Jhene Aiko channeled princess chic in a strapless blush Alberta Ferretti gown with a rosette-detailed bodice. I always love a sugary sweet red carpet moment and this was it.
Iggy Azalea’s braided updo took away from her showstopping blue cutout Giorgio Armani gown.
Rocsi Diaz went glam in a Jovani embellished gown with a plunging neckline. She’s never looked better!
Ne-Yo wore his signature fedora and an olive suit with contrast lapels. Nothing groundbreaking here, but I loved the hue.
Soledad O’Brien pulled her hair up into a ponytail and slipped on a long-sleeve navy gown with an embellished neckline. What’s not to like?
Jessie J served old Hollywood glamour in a short-sleeve black embellished Ralph and Russo gown. Hot!
Taylor Swift couldn’t be missed in a teal design from Elie Saab.
Katharine McPhee flaunted her slender physique in an Emilio Pucci gown, Vhernier Doppio Senso Earrings, and a Fibula Ring from the brand. She’s been killing it in the style department this year!
A menswear-inspired Moschino suit with a pink fur shawl to match were spotted on Charli XCX. She goes bold and though her looks aren’t always my cup of tea, I respect that. It’s music’s biggest nights and your look should be memorable!
Haim already won for most stylish trio in designs from Chloé and Stella McCartney.
Olivia Culpo played it a bit safe in a strapless black DSquared2 gown, but her man Nick Jonas definitely took a risk in a plaid Versace suit. They’re a gorgeous couple, aren’t they?
Jeannie Mai brought the drama in a sheer, gold-leaf accented sleeve gown with a feather bottom. There’s a lot to digest here…I would’ve liked this had the piece not been sheer.
Erica Campbell won Best Gospel Album in a lace-neckline cape gown.
A see-through embellished tulle gown was Tracey Edmonds’s choice for the evening.
Shaun Robinson was the lady in red in a form-fitting gown with a plunging illusion, studded neckline.
Singer and songwriter Angelique Kidjo couldn’t be missed in head-to-toe print.
Lalah Hathaway swept her hair up to let her off-the-shoulder beaded number play centerstage. She’s an absolute beauty!
Kelly Osbourne stuck to the classic color combo of black and white in a polka dot paillette Christian Siriano gown. Great look.
Aloe Blacc paired his signature bowler hat with a navy tux. Dapper no?
Sam Smith stands to win a ton of awards tonight! The crooner opted for an expertly-tailored tux for the night with a white bow tie.
Thoughts on the night’s ensembles?
