I’m about to croak from exhaustion but when we say this look came hot off the runway, it really did come straight off the runway! Not even a full 48 hours after it debuted on the catwalk, Anna Wintour walked the red carpet at Vogue Italia‘s 50th Anniversary celebration in a black and red Dolce and Gabanna Spring 2015 frock.Wintour hasn’t had the best history with Milan Fashion Week. She got into that scuffle with Giorgio Armani for skipping out on his show one year and then recently reportedly ran into a bad patch with designers Stefano Gabbana and Domencio Dolce. All that seems behind them now.
For her last event of Milan Fashion Week the editor-in-chief of American Vogue headed to Vogue Italia‘s 50th Anniversary celebration. For it, she wore the finale look from the Dolce & Gabbana show topped off by her signature necklace and pair of nude Manolos .
It definitely seems that the plan had already been in motion as Wintour’s version fits to her body perfectly and the embroidery seems done in a richer fabric.
What do you think? Did this industry icon rock this look or should she have left it on the runway?
