GET THE LOOK: How To Duplicate Kerry Washington’s Fishtail Braid.

While most of the world was amazed by Kerry Washington’s graphic-print Giles Deacon dress that she wore during The Limited launch celebration, I was completely crushing on her hairstyle for the evening. Her lengthy chocolate-brown hair was elegantly styled in a messy fishtail braid that sent my insides into an uncontrollable swooning motion.


Lucky for you beauties, I stumbled upon  Ursula Stephen (you know the hands responsible for all of Rihanna’s oh-so-fab hairstyles) and she filled me in on how to dupe this look and what products to use to maintain it!

1. First part your hair down the middle.

2. Twist one side of the hair, securing with hair pins and then repeat other side.

3. Join the hair with a continued twist and secure with small rubber band.

4. Fishtail braid the long part of hair, and secure with small rubber band at end.

5. Finish with Motions Hold & Shine to keep hair in place.

You are officially Kerry Washington-ready!
