Spring collection was said to be a reflection of a desert mirage, one
so poignant as to give one the feeling of a romantically meditative
trance. Soft beiges, golds, and pinks reflected the beauty of the far
East; pailettes and sequins, spied on pencil skirts and halter neck
cocktails evoked the texture of gilded sand.
Classics were given a kick with the help of bejeweled embellishments and plays on fabrics. Easy crop tops and coats in delectably silky linens and cottons were given some spunk via jewel laded Birkenstocks and sandals, laced up the ankle with delicate ribbon. The designer explained, “Everything is meant to feel easy, almost like a meditation. Not soft, not dainty, but there’s something very romantic and feminine behind every single piece.” Indeed.
