Topshop To Host The London Fashion Week’s first-ever plus-size fashion show for his brand Evans.

Sir Philip Green is a retail juggernaut in his own right– he is the man behind the Topshop empire as it is.  And now, he’s turned his attention to the plus size world, hosting the London Fashion Week’s first-ever plus-size fashion show for his brand Evans. “This is a big and important part of the market and we need to be seen to embrace it,” Green said of the move. “You cannot ignore the market place. And you can’t be defensive about it, or apologize about [plus-size fashion]. Why should the category be any different from petite?” (MTV)
