Chris Brown Fires Back at Drug Addiction Allegations

Chris Brown
Breezy claps back.
On the heels of a Billboard report about his “downward spiral” and alleged struggles with drug addiction, Breezy took to social media to refute the allegations.
“Y’all gotta stop with this angry shit,” he said in a video. “Going through drugs and all this other shit, I’m tired of reading about some shit soon as I got something poppin’. As soon as I want to promote a tour, ‘Party,’ a fuckin’ album, anything, y’all bring up something.”
In a second clip, Brown addressed his personal life and denied being in any financial trouble. “Y’all concerned with what girl I’m talking to or what person I’m dating, or who I’m seen with. I’ll be seen with whoever I want to be seen with, just like you can be. People can be who they want to be,” he said, before pointing the camera at a fleet of cars. “I am not hurting out here. Trust me. Y’all ni**as got it fucked up.”
Yesterday, Billboard ran a story about his alleged battles with cocaine, Xanax, and lean addiction. Current and former insiders said they were worried about his well being. “[He’s not] the first functional star who thinks they can handle those powerful drugs,” said one source. “I got to say with all my heart, he’s dancing with death.”
The report arrived shortly after Karrueche Tran and one of her male friends, Joseph Ryan La Cour, got separate restraining orders against Brown. Tran said Brown has abused and threatened to kill her while La Cour claimed Brown threatened to shoot him and that he sent alleged gang affiliates to harass him.
On March 31, Brown will embark on “The Party Tour” with 50 Cent and Fabolous. He is also currently working on Heartbreak on a Full Moon, which is tentatively slated for a summer release.
