Trending: Military-Inspired Fashion

teewhy-hive.blogspot.co.uk
Spring fever may have you gravitating towards bright and girly colors to match the sunnier season, but for something a bit unexpected look no further than the military trend. Although army fatigues are nothing new, we’re currently seeing a major resurgence in this fabric and pattern on celebrities and street style stars abound. Perhaps it is the fact that it’s a surprising neutral hue (army green) or that it provides a strong boost of confidence (camp anything) even for us mere civilians; either way, i fully support this fashion force.
Here are five favorite ways to wear the trend:

CARGO PANTS
If you’re exhausting your weekly jeans rotation, consider mixing things up with a pair of cargo pants like Emily Ratajkowski. They work just as well with flats for a daytime vibe as they do with heels and a bodysuit for a night out.

CAMO BAGS
As you have probably heard many times, a visually interesting accessory is the quickest way to spice up even the most boring outfit. Katie Holmes’ camo bag in versatile enough to go with everything from a shift dress to jeans and a tee.

OFFICER JACKET
A quick and easy way to command respect? An official and utilitarian-esque officer jacket like Ciara’s.

COMBAT BOOTS
Think boots are just for cold weather? Think again! We love a pair of combat boots paired with a feminine dress or skirt a la Jessica Alba as the temperatures begin to rise.

CAMO TOP
An on-duty camouflage top similar to Rihanna’s is a perfect off-duty weekend relaxed look. If a crop top isn’t your cup of tea, consider adding a dose of sexiness with bare shoulders or arms.
